  • Automatic Switch-over Between IP-based Equipment

ENENSYS’ IP switch can select the best of incoming IP streams. The selection is based on a set of configurable criteria (basic IP conditions, ETR290 1/2/3 & advanced conditions). The switching can be done either at the stream level or at the interface level.

  • Distribution & Contribution Link Securization

Using ENENSYS’ switch features allow to efficiently secure the transport of media over any types of contribution & distribution links. Indeed, the products from “Switches & IP Transport” line embed functions like FEC & time diversity (DualIP) to cope with packet losses occurring during transport.

  • Support EDI and ETI for DAB/DAB+/DMB Infrastructures

Using ENENSYS’ GigaCasterDMB enables the use of ETI and EDI into digital radio systems. The gateway allows for convert from one to the other, all the while being fully compliant with WordDMB EDI/DCP standard.

  • SFN Preservation with or without External Clock Reference

ENENSYS GigaCaster internal clock is accurate enough to be used on their own within SFN infrastructures, eliminating the need to provide external clock references. This allows operators to have a more simple system setup. That said, the synchronization of external clocks is also supported.

  • IP Jitter Removal & Packet Losses Recovery

ENENSYS’ switches can handle issues inherent to transport of data over IP networks. They can remove network jitter (network jitter agnostic), and can recover from packets losses using FEC and reorder IP packets. This prevents the disturbance of any equipment downstream of ENENSYS’ switches.
