DTH to T2-MI adapter

T2Edge DTH is ENENSYS local DVB-T2 adapter of the OneBeam DVB-T2 solution. Running on the transmission site prior to the DVB-T2 transmitter, the T2EdgeDTH aims at receiving a DTH stream to build a new DVB-T2 multiplex. It selects the services from the DTH stream and generates a T2-MI stream.

Satellite bandwidth optimization - Reduce OPEX costs

Until now two different distribution networks have been required to deliver a content bouquet to DTH and DTT (DVB-T2) viewers. OneBeam is the ENENSYS end-to-end solution to build DTT multiplex from a DTH source. It relies on the same satellite transponder to deliver both DTH services and to feed DTT transmitters, reducing drastically the OPEX costs with fast Return On Investment (ROI).

Commercially Deployed

Since 2014, the T2EdgeDTH has been widely deployed all over the world to fasten the availabilities of DVB-T2 services and to cover at once 100% of the country. Over 2000 units are generating deterministic T2-MI streams to enable DVB-T2 services over SFN.

The OneBeam solution is the unique solution to cover 100% of population with Digital Terrestrial Television services through satellite and terrestrial networks without duplicating network distribution bandwidth.

regional Emergency Warning Service (rEWS)

As an option, the T2EdgeDTH offers the support of Emergency Warning System (EWS) to inform about immediate dangers such as earthquakes, flood, tsunami, It replaces all services in the T2 multiplex by one EWS service under trigger control. It can alert for the whole country or for a specific region. It allows to deliver several regional alerts at a time.
