RAIWAY selects ELECTROLINK and ENENSYS TeamCast for rolling out DVB-T2 services

Rennes – November 27, 2020 – ENENSYS Technologies, designers and manufacturers of digital TV transmission technologies and ELECTROLINK, a leading Italian manufacturer of transmitter systems, are joining their efforts to design and deliver DVB-T2 compact transmitters for the Italian market.

With more than 84% of Digital Terrestrial TV (DTT) penetration, Italy has always been a top country to deploy and operate DTT system in a large scale. Further to many years of DVB-T operating, the Italian government has decided a transition plan to the Second Generation of DTT Technology – DVB-T2 – by 1^st July 2022. In this context, the national operator RAIWAY has selected ELECTROLINK and ENENSYS TeamCast as one of the major providers for DVB-T2 Transmitters

The first deliveries for this project will start from the end of this year and will last in 2022 with several hundred of DVB-T2 low power compact transmitters to deliver.
