ATSC3.0 Broadcast Gateway

ATSCheduler is ATSC3.0 Broadcast Gateway that encapsulates MMT, ROUTE, ALP or any IP streams into an ATSC multiplex, inserts synchronisation data from Single Frequency Network (SFN) Broadcasting, allocates data into the different Sub-Frame and Physical Layer Pipes (PLP) and generates STL output packets.

Highlights

Multi SubFrame and MultiPLP support

Using Multiple Sub-Frames and/or Multiple PLP (Physical Layer Pipes) provides service-specific robustness according to the delivered services.

1+1 seamless redundancy

1+1 redundancy mechanism that guarantees a seamless switch-over in SFN and MFN to avoid any TV black-out during switch-over operation between 1+1 redundant redundant ATSCheduler or STL TP delivery network.

SFN Management

The ATSCheduler enables SFN broadcasting over ATSC3.0. It provides the timing signaling information to all modulators to generate the same data at the very same time over the same frequency.

Broadcast Grade and scalable

ATSCscheduler is based on our High Density chassis (HDc), already deployed in many networks, offering also the capability to have up to 3 ATSCheduler in 1RU
