- The Digital Video Broadcast standardization body has a worldwide imprint over Digital TV delivery and services providers, broadcasters, network operators, equipment manufacturers, semiconductor companies... and is the reference in Digital TV transmission as regards IP TV, Mobile TV, Terrestrial , Cable or satellite TV.

- The Advanced Television Systems Committee standardization body is working around Digital TV delivery (SDT, HDTV, Interactive TV) and services delivery. ATSC gathers broadcasters, CE companies, network operators, silicon companies...
- The Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) is a non-profit, non-government, professional association of broadcasting organisations, formed in 1964 to facilitate the development of broadcasting in the Asia-Pacific region and to organise co-operative activities amongst its members. It currently has over 200 members in 58 countries, reaching a potential audience of about 3 billion people.
- The Digital TV Group (DTG) is the industry association for digital television in the UK. The Group publishes and maintains the technical specification for the UK’s Freeview and Freeview HD platforms (the D-Book) and runs the digital television industry’s test centre: DTG Testing
- The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), is the leading technical society for the motion imaging industry.
- The Open Mobile Alliance organization mission is to identify, define and specify schemes that would ease interoperatibility around Mobile TV services.
- The Mobile DTV Alliance is a consortium of Industry leaders in the field of Mobile TV services providing.
- DigiTAG promotes the spread-out of Digital Terrestrial TV services using standards defined by DVB.
- The World DAB Forum provides information about DMB (Mobile TV) and DAB (Digital Radio) implementations
