Broadcasters need to transport content from head-ends to transmission sites.

Distribution using IP is today's most reliable and cost efficient solution. IP networks can be found anywhere, are easy to setup and are much more cost-efficient than any other networks. In addition, IP multicasting allows to send the same information to a group of receivers without having to duplicate the content.

Moreover, using IP networks, it is now possible to preserve Single Frequency Networks (SFN over IP). Broadcasters can then transmit programs over the same frenquency thus saving frequencies.

ENENSYS ASI over IP video gateways make it possible to safely transport video content from one location to another without needing to setup expensive transmissions such as satellite or ATM based solutions.

ENENSYS ASI over IP solutions are all compliant to the Pro MPEG Forum CoP3 recommandations thus allowing easy interoperability with existing network equipments.
