Benefiting from ENENSYS's years of experience in the Digital Broadcast Network Solutions design, Transmission product line encompasses standards and technologies used worldwide for Digital Terrestrial TV broadcast (DVB-T, DVB-T2 and DTMB) and Mobile TV broadcast (DVB-H, MediaFLO, T-DMB).

LabMod modulator family provides a high level solution for DTV network setup in a lab or manufacturing environment, cumulating high quality outputs, internal stream player, various test modes, white noise generator and optional channel simulator.
LabMod offers several kinds of inputs (ASI and USB) allowing to play any external or internal stream (internal stream player and stream generator natively embeded). It generates high quality RF and IF signals that will fit any situation that may occur in a lab, research and development, or manufacturing site. Last but not least, optional Channel Simulator allows to reproduce any multipath configuration wished.

Channel Simulator Option:

The Channel Simulator option consists of an applications software that is available on any LabMod product.  This feature is typically useful when a multipath propagation environment simulation is needed.

Thanks to this advanced feature, it is now possible with any LabMod product to simulate any propagation model (cf drawing below) for, as example, test perturbated reception on a TV set, check decoding limitations on a chipset, etc...

Moreover, thanks to the white noise generator feature, it is also possible to simulate the propagation attenuation and so, anticipate the behavior of  the receiver.
