1+1 Smart switch for ASI/IP redundancy

ASIIPGuard is ENENSYS innovative and dense ASI/IP redundancy switch that enables automatic 2:1 or 3:1 switch redundancy of ASI and IP feeds. As an option, it can provide seamless switching capabilities between two or three MPEG-2 TS, T2-MI or BTS streams.

Automatic 2:1 or 3:1 ASI/IP switch

The ASIIPGuard aims at providing automatic redundancy switch between 2 or 3 MPEG-2 Transport Streams according to the validity of the incoming streams. Upon ETR290 errors, SFN errors, T2-MI, BTS errors or advanced MPEG-2 TS errors, ASIIPGuard switches automatically from the faulty input to the valid input.

Seamless switching

The ASIIPGuard offers seamless switching capability between 2or 3 identical MPEG-2 TS, BTS, T2-MI streams that are carried over ASI or IP-based networks with different delays: it aligns streams to perform a seamless switching. When combined with ENENSYS gateways, ASIIPGuard can provide a seamless switch-over between two gateways for DVB-T/T2 & ISDB-Tb networks.

100% Service Availability

By default, the ASIIPGuard offers an ASI bypass mechanism in order to enable 100% of service availability in case of power outage. As an option, the IP bypass is also available.

High Density Solution

Thanks to the innovate Enensys design, up to 6 ASIIPGuard hot-swap modules can be inserted in a chassis. This allows for up to 6 redundancy switch in a 1U size equipment.
