ENENSYS demonstrates its expertize in developing a full in-house modulator (including IP Core) for the new and complex DVB- T2 standard.

After an encouraging interoperability test in January, ENENSYS gained Arqiva's trust and installed a DVB-T2 modulator at Crystal Palace for Ofcom pilot. This live DVB-T2 transmission is currently used to validate the Ofcom modes in-situ and any receiver that would be launched on UK market.

In February ENENSYS participated in the V&V (Validation and Verification) plugfest in Turin, which validated the overall product quality. Orders followed confirming ENENSYS leading position.

ENENSYS introduces its new IP gateway for digital radio content.
GigaCaster DMB is the first hardware platform available on the market allowing the distribution of DAB, DAB+, DMB and T- DMB over IP networks. GigaCaster DMB provides advanced network jitter removal, Forward Error Correction and makes it possible to preserve SFN without any external clock reference from GPS (10 MHz / 1 PPS). This new IP gateway provides a safe and reliable way to transport digital radio content at a time when cost control is critical for everyone.

Laurent ROUL, Product Manager Head-end, will also take part in the Broadcast Engineering Conference planned on Wednesday 22nd April, from 2 to 6:00 pm.

This conference will consider a global deployment of DVB-T2 standard and will point out the aspects which have to be carefully taken into account.
