ENENSYS Technologies broadcasts live at IBC 2006 with DVB-H mini-Transmitters
ENENSYS Mobile TV mini-Transmitter powers live-broadcast of DVB-H services.
ENENSYS Technologies, leading manufacturer of the DVB-H and DTTV industry, announced that they will be showing an end-to-end DVB-H delivery chain with IP primary Distribution scheme, hence live-broadcasting DVB-H services on their booth (Hall 3, booth # 3.430c).
"We are proud to unveil our DVB-H 1W mini-Transmitter with IP input”, said Nicolas FANNECHÈRE, VP Marketing at ENENSYS Technologies. “Using a mini-Transmitter is the most interesting solution to adopt for DVB-H indoor broadcast."
"IP input enables an “all-IP” primary distribution of hierarchical Transport Streams to the mini-Transmitter. DVB-H modulation stage is SFN capable and supports Hierarchical Mode broadcast. Equipped with a 1W high grade power amplifier, the mini-Transmitter has the right fit to broadcast over covered premises such as indoor or underground areas.
As ENENSYS manufactures broadcast solutions, its mini-Transmitter features SNMP and Digital Pre-Correction capabilities that are essential to make the most of the local transmission. Compact and robust, ENENSYS' mini-Transmitter is also remote controllable.”
"We are perfectly in line with DVB-H commercial deployments that took place in 2006 and we are now ready to support local broadcast. As a matter of fact, indoor coverage in commercial malls or underground stations faces strict specifications that substantially differentiate from outdoor broadcast, hence requiring ENENSYS mini-Transmitter solution" added Nicolas FANNECHÈRE.
