ENENSYS announces the release of its new MPEG2 Transport Stream over IP network adapter, namely FastCaster!
To date, the never-ending IP networks interconnection growth made it possible to send data from one part of the world to another without any additional infrastructure cost. This is where operators can achieve consequent OPEX savings by moving to all-IP transfer solutions.
FastCaster Network Adapter provides a cost-effective and highly reliable solution for transporting high quality digital video content over IP networks (MPEG2 Transport Stream over IP). As the FastCaster is designed from the very beginning with the professionals' needs in mind, it is equipped with 2 redundant ASI inputs/outputs, offers separate control and data network interfaces and can be fully monitored and controlled through SNMP.
In addition, FastCaster can be set in TS > IP or IP > TS conversion direction through a single click thus providing a very flexible solution for both production and test/labs requirements.
