ENENSYS announces the release of its new MPEG2 Transport Stream over IP network adapter, namely FastCaster!

FastCaster Network Adapter provides a cost-effective and highly reliable solution for transporting high quality digital video content over IP networks (MPEG2 Transport Stream over IP). It is perfectly suited to Mobile TV or DTTV distribution applications but has also proved to match other requirements such as IPTV, Head-end interconnection, National to regional content distribution, Corporate Streaming, ...
As the FastCaster is designed from the very beginning with the professionals' needs in mind, it is equipped with 2 redundant ASI inputs/outputs, offers separate control and data network interfaces and can be fully monitored and controlled through SNMP.
In addition, FastCaster can be set in TS > IP or IP > TS conversion direction through a single click thus providing a very flexible solution for both production and test/labs requirements.
Finally, thanks to ENENSYS' high performance smoothing algorithm, FastCaster offers an unrivaled protection against Jitter as well as very low latency.
